AmiAmi Akiba. β¨
While Mandarake is for vintage, AmiAmi is for the *new*. Located in the Radio Kaikan building, this is the best place to find currently trending figures from Genshin Impact, Fate, and Shonen Jump series.
Pre-Owned
They have a massive "used" section where figures are graded (A/B/C). "B" usually means the box is opened but the figure is perfect.

Doujinshi Culture. βοΈ
"Doujinshi" are self-published fan comics. They are the lifeblood of the Otaku ecosystem. Head to the basements of **Melonbooks** or **Toranoana** to see rows of indie art books, music CDs, and fan fiction.
Warning:
These stores are often divided into "General" (All Ages) and "Adult" (R-18) zones. The R-18 sections are usually behind a curtain or on a separate floor. Check the signs!
Gachapon Kaikan. π
Known as the "Holy Land of Gachapon." This store is packed with hundreds of capsule toy machines. Itβs loud, chaotic, and the best place to burn your leftover coins.
The Variety
From high-quality miniature furniture to bizarre animals and anime keychains. Machines rotate constantly.
The Sound
The constant *clack-clack* of plastic capsules hitting the tray is the soundtrack of this shop.
